Thanks for the review, World. I was hoping for something better with this game. You're right, there aren't enough JRPGs and because of this mediocre games are allowed to flourish.

I had really high hopes because I wanted a reason to use my Vita and it's Tales for crying out loud! Now I want to slap whoever planned this narrative.

Good review! I was gonna pick this up day 1, but I think I'll pass now. I still have yet to play Graces and Xillia. They look so shiny sitting there on top of my backlog.

To anyone looking for a great new JRPG (SRPG to be exact), then Tears to Tiara 2 is a fantastic game. If you can get past the prologue which takes about 3 hours, the game really starts to shine. It is heavily story driven, but the story is fantastic. It came out in October I think, but didn't sell very well at all, which is too bad.

Wait, isn't that an "H" game? I've only played part one so I'm not sure its still an "H" but…

Yeah, I can vouch for its narrative being good, the gameplay isn't bad either.

@Zen you must buy Xillia. You can pass on Graces if you still have better backlogs. 🙂

The first game was an H style game, but the second one has none of it. Doesn't even have any real fanservice actually. I was surprised when I heard the first game had so much of it.

Thanks, this game is sold then.
